11.4 INTEGRATION WITH EXACT

Exact Online integration is a free module that comes with your iGlobe CRM license.

Having credible data both in CRM and ERP is always important. Connecting Exact Online with iGlobe CRM Office 365 means that users of Exact Online and iGlobe CRM can retrieve information about accounts and transactions, from Exact Online to iGlobe CRM, in a fast and effortless way. The integration will, among other things make it easier to get the full overview of each single customer.

Setup

The integration between CRM and Exact iGlobe made up of CRM administrator in the Administration menu.  The first step is getting a Client ID and a Client secret ID that you will need for authenticating iGlobe CRM against Exact Online.
 
IMPORTANT!  Send an e-mail to support@iglobecrm.com with the URL of you iGlobe CRM App. Here is an example of a URL
 
 
With this URL iGlobe will generate a unique a Client ID and a Client secret ID and send it back to you.
 
Next step is to enter the Client ID and a Client secret ID you recieved from iGlobe in the configuration of iGlobe CRM. In the Administration menu, select the menu item App Config and enter the Client ID and a Client secret ID in the fields as shown below.
 
 
You are now ready to authenticate iGlobe CRM against your Exact Online account. In the Administration menu, select the menu item Integration, “Exact Online”. This opens the Exact Online configuration page. Click on “Connect with Exact Online” to connect and authenticate to Exact. After you have connected successfully, enter your company financial year start date and connector is set up.
 
 

Import and updating Accounts

In the Administration menu, select the menu item integration, “Exact Online”.  iGlobe CRM gives you three options.
 
Import – import all your accounts from Exact Online into iGlobe. This feature will typically be used in connection with the implementation of iGlobe CRM.
Import & Update– import new accounts from Exact Online to iGlobe CRM as well as updating existing accounts.
Update -update of existing accounts. This will typically apply in connection with the updating of financial ratios from Exact Online to iGlobe CRM. The update function requires that there is a key between the account in iGlobe CRM and Exact Online. The Key in iGlobe is the Customer ID, while the Key for Exact will be the ID.
 

Save your import profiles

iGlobe CRM allows you to save the import routines giving you the ability to reuse import routines. After you have created an import ptofile (see following description) simply "Save".

Setting up an import function

In the Administration menu, select the menu item integration, “Exact Online”. This opens an Exact Online integration page.
 
Specify an import "title"
Under the "Target", select the "type" you want to import.

Import of Customer
In the "Target" select CRM Company. This will load a list of fields from the customer form of iGlobe CRM on the left side. In Source (from Exact), select "Account". Following is an example of customer mapping.
Note: 
"Title" in iGlobe CRM corresponds to the "Company name" that is, the customer's name
"Customer ID" iGlobe CRM and the "ID" from Exact 
 
Importing contacts
In the "Target" select CRM Contact. In Source (from Exact), select "Contact". This will load a list of fields from the contact of iGlobe CRM on the left side while the fields from Exact displays on the right side. Remember to select a key (Key) that can link the contact with the corresponding company. If you don’t have any key field then select “ID” as key field.
 
Import from an existing mapping
 
 From Admin tab select Integration > Exact Online it will show Exact Online integration page, click on an item from item list.
 
It will show you the mapping details. From here your can change field mapping and importing data from mapping. But if you want to create new mapping from here then click on the selected item. Then it will deselect the item. Now change the mapping as you want. Click on “Save” button to save mapping or click on “RUN” button to perform your selected operation.
 
[Note: If an existing is selected then it will always update the existing mapping, but if it is deselected then it always creates new map. If you click on an existing item from item list then it is selected. If you click on the selected item again then it is deselect.]
